"Break up"

Silent words and nothing else,
I tried my best to control myself,
I promised myself I would no cry,
A silent tear fell from my eye.

Breaking up was such a shock,
My heart is just like a lock,
You are the owner of its key,
The only One who makes me happy.

Losing you was my greatest fear,
Whenever I felt sad,I found you near,
We intended to love each other,
Till the time we got lost forever.

All I want is to make you cheerful,
Little did I know it would be so painful,
All I do is to make you sad,
What have I really done so bad!

What did I do,what did I say,
To make you change yourself the very day,
Everytime I tried to prove my love for you,
To let you know how much I love you.

Yet it was all in vain,
And alas! I felt such a pain!
Whenever you gave me that look,
I hid my tears behind a book.

I waited and waited,day after day,
For the time when you would again say,
Let's share our joys and sorrows,
And hope for a better tomorrow.

I knew that you loved ne,
Then how did you neglect me?
Never did I hurt you deliberately,
Nor did you hurt me intentionally.

The silent feelings that we used to share,
The tender gestures,the way we used to care,
The little little things that we only knew,
Will we have to forget them and make ourselves anew?

Life without you was living in a cell,
Where life was nothing but worse than hell,
Breaking up was such a nightmare,
I wish I could change everything as it were.

All the faults were really mine,
To doubt your love was my greatest crime,
Please forgive me my dear!
I promise never to do such a thing ever!

The smile on your face, the sparkle in your eyes,
Wasn't it enough to indicate a yes?
You had forgiven me, yes you had,
There's no further question of making you sad,

I thought love is an illusion,a thing so fake,
Little did I know,it's through which we make,
Lifetime friends and everlasting relations,
Both sad and happy, a divine combination!

If Love is a Universal emotion, then the pain it often causes is equally Universal.

Sometimes when really sad, I look up into ur eyes,
And wonder what has happened to our lives,
I recollect the memory of the blissful days spent together,
When ur eyes seemed to reflect ur feelings without fear,
That look of ur eyes still strikes my heart, as if with a blow,
But perhaps its true that feelings change as we grow.
Ur deep confident eyes showing a lot of care,
How is it that it took so little time to disappear?
Looking into the same eyes, nowadays, I often wonder
Lost in far away thoughts of our friendship together,
Y is it that those same eyes are now far more serious?
But perhaps with the passage of time the change is oblivious,
Then i think that eveything will again be alright,
And our futurea will always remain bright.

Every morning I wake u seeing ur dreams,
U r just perfect for me it seems.
Throughout the day ur thoughts just don’t leave me alone,
It seems in a world of thoughts I have flown.

I miss u so much that I think of u day and night,
And always hope that u r not facing any difficult plight.
Each and every expression on your countenance,
Is always present in my mind as a fond remembrance.

I am so lucky to have u in my life who's so wonderful,
Who makes my life cheerful, all the more colourful.

With every passing day I feel I have started loving u all the more.
Like the beautiful rainbow in the azure blue sky,
U have made me so happy that I have no reason to cry.

Like a gentle cool breeze after a scorching afternoon,
Like the little speck of happiness in the life of someone forlorn,
Like the slight warmth on a cold wintry morning,
With the passage of each and every day I find u all the more adoring.
